 British Canoe Union 4-Star Discovery Trip
A five-day 4-Star training and camping trip all in one on the gorgeous coast of Maine. What better way to learn to journey on the sea than by taking a journey on the sea? This is a chance to learn and practice 4-Star skills while savoring the beauty and wildlife around a few of Maine's many islands. No extra charge for sightings of eagles, loons, seals and porpoises.

The British Canoe Union is an internationally recognized governing body for paddle sports, whose courses are becoming increasingly popular in the U.S. The BCU certifies paddlers at specific skill levels. This "star" system is recognized internationally. First, take a training session, then go and practice. When you're ready, take an assessment.
