 Group Sea Kayaking Adventure
Aquaterra Adventures offers group rates for groups of 10 or more people with advanced reservations only. Generally, groups that reserve their adventure with a 50% deposit at least a month prior to their adventure date will receive a 20% discount. The remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to the date of their adventure. It is difficult to list a group rate due to the variety of packages that can be customized for each group. We have paddled with professional organizations, scouts, summer camps, and youth groups. Rates will vary greatly depending upon the amount of services and equipment that is provided by the Aquaterra Adventures staff. Groups larger than 12 participants will be charged an additional guide fee of $15 per hour.
Overnight trips are customized and in small groups of six or less only.
What's Included?
Again, this can be customized to your group. Please make arrangements well in advance to enable us to satisfy all of your group's needs.
All day-long programs generally include lunch, guide or instructional service, all necessary equipment, and shuttle service.
Multi-day programs generally include meals beginning with lunch on day one through lunch the final day, lodging or camping accommodations, all necessary equipment, and shuttle service. In general, all you need to bring is the recommended clothing items, sleeping bag, and a sense of adventure.
All programs depart from our waterfront location in Bar Harbor, Maine. Shuttles to remote areas are included in the adventure.
Safety First!
Your safety comes first at Aquaterra Adventures. Trip and course itineraries reflect the concern and experience our staff brings to any trip planning. We use only quality gear with your comfort and safety in mind. We carry first aid kits and VHF Marine radios at all times so that we are prepared for most type of wilderness emergency. Our guide staff is trained in First Aid and CPR and practice sound judgment when making decisions.
You will be asked to provide medical and dietary information at time of registration and will sign an assumption of risk and liability release form which outlines possible hazards for your particular activity.
Reservations are required at least 30-day in advance for group rates.
