Sea Kayaker Magazine boasts kayaking around Mount Desert Island as one of the top 10 places in the world to go kayaking. National Geographic Adventure boasts kayaking Acadia in recent articles. Our season in Maine begins in May and ends in October. Outside Magazine as featured Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park in their May '02 issue as well as in their Outside Traveler Magazine Spring '03.
Sea kayaking in Maine offers such a variety of landscapes from sandy beaches to breathtaking views of waves crashing into ledges.
