 Solo Kayak - Sea Kayaking Adventure
We understand that some paddlers would rather paddle a solo kayak rather than a tandem kayak. That is why in addition to our regular adventures which use tandem kayaks, we also offer some of our adventures for the more experienced solo paddlers.
Solo kayaks are available on most of our other sea kayaking adventures for an additional $10 per paddler until we start conducting this (just) solo sea kayaking adventure. This solo sea kayaking adventure is offered from after the 4th of July through to Labor Day.
Not only is the scenery breath taking but we also see a wide variety of wild life, including harbor seals, harbor porpoise, bald eagles, double crested cormorants, black guillemots, and a variety of sea gulls.
For these adventures we have several models of kayaks to outfit you with. The models available made by Dagger include the Cortez and the Halifax, and the models made by Necky include the Looksha V, Eskia, Zoar
Sport, Chatam, and others. We will do our best to fit you to a kayak that fits your properly. This sea kayaking adventure is set up to give you the most personalized service available with only six guests per guide for each of the solo sea kayaking adventures.
The cost of the solo sea kayaking adventure is $65 per person.
The duration of this adventure is 4.5 hours, including prep time.
Age Limit: 16 years old or older, depending upon experience.
We ask that each participant on this solo sea kayaking adventure have some paddling experience.
