Bar Harbor Bike Shop - Best rental bicycle selection on Mount Desert Island. Go bike the Carriage Roads. Acadia National Park offers 57 miles of hard packed, crushed granite roadways that are closed to motorized vehicles, leaving hikers, bikers and horseback riders an incredible trail system to explore the interior of Acadia National Park. Carraiage road maps available at each entrance station.

Bar Harbor Whale Watch - Offers whale watching and offshore seabirds, lobster & seal watching trips. The air temperature out at sea is a bit cooler, so please dress with several layers for your comfort. You will be required to have a photo I.D. in order to board the vessel, so please be prepared.

Northwoods Outfitters - Rent an ATV!!! The Moosehead Lake Region is prime territory with the largest undeveloped forest in the northeast. Trails exist on both the east and west side of lake, but for the best experience, hire one of our guides to find those secret spots. This is definitely well worth the trip. Several scenic vistas wait your inspection.


Orono Bog Boardwalk and Bangor City Forest - Tripp Drive (off Stillwater Ave, Bangor, ME. This location is not on Mount Desert Island, but you may want to visit. An amazing boardwalk across a peat bog, biking, hiking, snowshoe and cross-country ski trails will delight and exhilirate you. A great place to exercise and enjoy natural surroundings when you are just a mile from the Bangor Mall.

Old Quarry Ocean Adventures - Paddle out to a coastal island in the Stonington archipelago, set up camp, and then let the fun begin. You will explore a number of islands, stop for a swim, and have a wonderful chance to relax. Good company, good food, good sunsets, and great stories await you.
