Eateries & Watering Holes
- Poor Boy's Gourmet - 207-288-4148 - Extremely friendly service, marvelous baked stuffed haddock, save room for banofee pie. Be sure to meet Kathleen.
- Cottage Street Bakery - Great coffee, popovers with raspberry jam,and boxed lunches for your daily adventures.
- Fish House Grill - Raw bar and mixed drinks are reason enough, but be sure to try the BBQ Ribs, Buffalo Scallops, and a Rusticator Blue.
- Morning Glory Bakery - Dark Star coffee and I recommend that you try a piece of homemade pie for breakfast. Don't worry, we won't tell your Mom.
- Lobster Claw - Creator of the Lobstah Kabobstah. Homemade chowders and crab bisque are the absolute best. Warning: The owner, Barry, is an experience that you won't forget.
- Mainely Meat BBQ - The pulled pork, coleslaw, potatoe salad, and the baked beans are fit for a king.
- La Bella Vita - The view from the dining room is second to none and has the service to match. Try the meatballs.
- Thirsty Whale - Although this is known as a locals bar, we strongly recommend that you stop in for the seafood sampler.
- Parkacadia - Although this is a convenience store/gas station, they make the best damn steak & cheese.
- Wicked Good Food - Operated out of a small shack, the home cooked goods are mouthwatering. I suggest the grandpa's delight (meatloaf sandwich).
- Cafe This Way - Although their breakfast is incredible, but make sure you get homemade toast and corned beef hash.
- Gayln's Restaurant - 207-288-9706 - Find a seat on the street-side porch, absorbing the view of Agamont Park and Frenchman Bay. enjoy the mixed seafood grill with a side of crabcakes. Save room for the warm, crusty focaccia bread!
If you have had an outstanding experience that is not listed here, please let Steve know about it so that he can personnally check it out and add it to our list.
