 Kayak Training
Our goal at Aquaterra Adventures is to provide you with a variety of courses and equipment, along with the best trained instructors in the area, so that you can achieve the level of skills to safely and confidently explore the ever changing coastlines via sea kayak. We started out with guided sea kayak tours, but after introducing so many people to the sport of sea kayaking, we felt responsible to offer courses of the skills required to safely explore on the ocean. You should easily see that we offer the largest variety of instructional programs offered in the sea kayaking industry to better meet your individual needs.
We understand that you may become overwhelmed with all of the options of instructional programs that we offer. Even after reading the descriptions of each class, you may still not know what the right class is for you. Please don’t hesitate to give us a call and explain to us what skills that you would like to work on. Our goal is to match you with the appropriate program. If one of our programs doesn’t meet your goals and desires, we may customize a program for you. Just give us a call.
Our staff of guides and instructors dedicates their bodies and souls to the sport of sea kayaking and strive to constantly exceed the boundaries of safety and the knowledge of the sport. Come join in the fun and get involved in making sea kayaking the safest paddle sport around.
Whatever your experience level, we have a class for you. In addition to courses from the American Canoe Association and the British Canoe Union , we offer specialty classes including Maine Sea Kayak Guide training , supervised open-pool kayak sessions , and instruction in traditional (Greenland-style) paddling , rolling and private instruction .
