HIKING SUGGESTIONS

Schoodic Mt.

Located just north of our shop on 183 you will find Schoodic Mt, which is easily mistaken for Schoodic Head Mt. on Schoodic Peninsula. This is an easy/moderate 2.4 mile hike.  At the summit you'll find rewarding views that over look Acadia and where you went paddling.

Black Mt.

Black mountain is also located just north of us on 183 next to Schoodic Mt.  This is a moderate/advanced 5.8 mile hike.  It is for those seeking a little more of a longer and adventurous hike.

The Anvil Mt.

The Anvil Mt. is located on the Schoodic Peninsula's loop road. Park at the Blueberry Hill parking area.  This is a moderate 2 mile hike.  It can be a short hike that offers good views, if you decided to stop at the top of The Anvil.  However it recommended to continue to the top of Schoodic Head Mt.

Schoodic Head Mt.

There are a few different ways to approach the summit.  Park at the East trail entrance and take the short but steep scramble to the top.  This is a moderate 1 mile hike.

The Cutler Coast

Located in Cutler, ME this is a "must do" hike.  Because of it is located off the beaten path not many people visit this wonderful preserve. It is a moderate hike ranging from 3-10 miles. I'd suggest the 5 mile loop to give you a chance to explore the coast.
